AMP Toolkit & Training
The AMP partnership works to ensure that best practices and new ideas being used or tried by NMCPs and partners, are collected and shared to ensure that high quality distributions continue to take place. Part of the sharing of knowledge happens through face-to-face meetings, such as AMP trainings and technical assistance missions, while another part is based on guidance and documentation for planning and implementing mass ITN distribution campaigns.
AMP publishes a comprehensive manual and toolkit focused on universal coverage ITN campaigns, targeting all individuals at risk of malaria. The toolkit, which is periodically revised to ensure that the most up-to-date resources are available to countries implementing mass distribution campaigns, includes chapters on campaign coordination, planning, procurement, logistics, communication, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, campaign reporting and sustaining gains achieved through continuous distribution.
AMP hosts trainings to build strong networks across countries that will nurture ongoing exchanges which do not rely on outside technical assistance. Upcoming regional AMP trainings will focus on macroplanning, microplanning, M&E, logistics, SBCC, leadership and management and continuous distribution. The trainings will highlight successful country experiences and package them for replication, to ensure the lessons are used for future campaigns.
