Generic Digitalization Plan of Action for an ITN campaign (DPoA)

The guidance in this document is intended for national malaria programmes (NMPs) starting macroplanning for their upcoming insecticide-treated net (ITN) mass campaign. It outlines the key items to include in a digitalization plan of action (DPoA) to support achievement of objectives defined in the overall ITN campaign plan of action. Digitalization is a tool for improving efficiency and outcomes of campaigns and it supports the technical/operational strategy defined for different campaign components. It is critical that the campaign strategy is determined based on experiences and lessons learned and that the DPoA, an annex to the campaign plan of action (PoA), describes how digital tools will be used in support of achieving the campaign objectives. Note that NMPs with limited experience in digitalization are strongly advised to develop a standalone DPoA, while NMPs with more experience may wish to incorporate sections from the DPoA in the overall campaign plan of action.
